Allowed Items
We're able to take away a large variety of waste in our skips but there are still types of rubbish that we cannot accept. This is because certain types of waste cannot be mixed within the skips. Here is a breakdown of all the items we can take and some materials that are not allowed.
What We Accept
- Wood (fences, gates, flooring, etc.)
- Windows and Door Panels
- Whole Sheets Of Glass
- Trees (including all of the roots & leaves)
- Bathroom Items (tiles, toilets, showers & basins)
- Tarmac & Concrete
- Garden Waste (soil, grass and wooden furniture)
- Soft Upholstery (sofas and chairs)
- Tables,
- Small Pieces of Clay
- Scrapped Metal
- Salt and Rubble (numerous types)
- Plastic Goods
- Paper and Card
- Paint Containers (unfortunately no lids)
- Packaging Waste (cardboard)
- Office Items
- Mattresses & Bed Frames
- Kitchen Items
- General Domestic Rubbish
- DIY Waste, Construction Rubbish and Debris
- Ceramic Items
- Old Carpets & Flooring
What We Don't Accept
- Explosives
- WEEE
- All Types of Toxic, Hazardous & Corrosive Waste
- Asbestos
- Items Which Can Irritate Skin
- Food Items
- Sharp Items (such as knives)
- Clinical Waste (used syringes, needles, bandages)
- Batteries (all sizes)
- Faeces (both human and animal)
